Kangana Ranaut Begins Prepping For Hansal Mehta’s Simran
Here's the latest update from the world of Bollywood. We bet you wouldn't want to miss this. Read on for details... The actress is doing workshops for the film in Atlanta
A few months ago, Kangana Ranaut wrapped up the shoot of Vishal Bhardwaj’s period drama Rangoon, which also features Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor in pivotal roles. And now, she has begun prepping for Hansal Mehta’s Simran. The actress is in Atlanta doing workshops for the film. Her sister, Rangoli Chandel, posted snapshots of what the actress is up to on her Twitter account. She captioned one of the pictures, “Workshop mode!!! #Discussion #Simran #Atlanta (sic).”
The film is a story of a girl, her ambitions and how she gets addicted to the world of crime. Certain reports suggest that Simran is allegedly inspired by the life of an NRI nurse in the US, Sandeep Kaur, who was imprisoned for robbing banks to pay off her gambling debts last year.
Coming back to the workshops, Kangana, who reportedly essays the role of a housekeeper, can be seen vacuuming, making beds and having an intense discussion with professional housekeepers about their routine.
A couple of days ago, Kangana had set the stage on fire as she strutted down the ramp for Tarun Tahiliani at the Lakme Fashion Week (Kangana Ranaut struts the runway, Sasha’s cute moment with
